I eat fruit and crackers, and plenty of other carbs. I have no problem losing weight as long as I maintain a slight caloric deficit.

Everyone has a different journey and their own plan. No foods are awful Larry, maybe just awful for you. Plate looks delicious. I’d eat it up!

According to the registered dieticians whose guidance I am following, in combination, the protein from the eggs and cheese will help slow down absorption/processing of the carbs in the fruit and crackers. They would say this is a balanced meal.

Calories in calories out. Junior is mistaken, but you can't blame him with all the misinformation out there.

I think junior would freak if he sees what I eat for preworkout 😂

I'm with Diablo, I eat lots of carbs, never have a problem losing weight when I stay on plan.

Consider yourself lucky that you can still tolerate dairy. I miss brie and cream cheese (thankfully nutritional yeast is a great parmesan substitute), but with those gone, so has the need for crackers. You can never go wrong with cherries, though. 😋

Looks very similar to many of my dinners!

Looks good! I would love it but for now am having very little cheese (just a little shredded when I make tacos!)

That’s a perfect plate! Will be mimicking it this week!

288 calories....under 1 oz. of cheese. Larry, fruit is not your enemy. I eat a bowl of fruit...about 1 1/2 cups....every morning. I get labs done every 6 months & no issues with insulin levels. Bananas, I love cheese! I do watch portion size (calories). I eat a lot of Feta..

@Larry: some fruit is low on the glycemic chart, if diabetes is an issue. The Zone Diet allows for apples, berries and grapes, for instance, since they're high in fiber and anti-inflammatory.

I don't eat crackers or yellow cheese for different reasons than carbs but I think this is a fine looking snack! We all have our own way that works! 💪👍💜

Oh my! that's more food than I'm allowed to eat in one meal....I can't loose any weight unless I keep my calories to a max of 1200/day and exercise 6 hours/week.
