1. Almonds
2. Pistachios
3. Walnuts
4. Cashews
5. Pecans
6. Macadamia Nuts

Cashews are SO weird looking! And very labor intensive to process for us to conveniently buy at the grocery store! (They're my favorite though!) What's YOUR fave? 🤔

I love them all, except for Brazil nuts. Can't pick a favorite though. I love walnuts and blue cheese in salad, peanuts with stir fry, almonds and pistachios for snacking...yum!!

Love them all but have been learning to use cashews in different ways in place of olive oil since I transitioned to a WFPB WOE

Sk.17 ~ I like that thinking! I heard you actually burn more calories eating celery than the celery has in it! (don't know if that's true...)

Karen ~ what is WFPB?🤔

Pistachios are my thing. I grew up in the Philippines 🇵🇭 eating cashews and cooking the seeds. It was labor intensive but it was so good fresh roasted.

Crystal-Whole Foods Plant Based. Differs from Vegan in that all processed foods are no-no’s. Decided to try it for a few months and see if I can get off statins and bring my a1c to normal. I miss the taste of olive oil, but it isn’t strictly forbidden just not recommended on a regular basis so I only have it when I make a panzanella salad with summer tomatoes and basil. I get all the protein I need from whole grains, beans, pulses and vegetables. Because it is so fiber filled, I have been eating a lot fewer calories and stay satisfied.

There's a jar of smoked almonds in my kitchen at all times. Kills the hungries!

The celery thing is a myth, alas. As for nuts -- we eat them every single day in this house. My go-to is pistachios, while my husband tends to graze on roasted cashews all day. Raw cashews are an essential ingredient in some of the vegan cheeses I make. We keep pecans (oh, so wonderfully sweet!) and walnuts in the fridge at all times, and I always have a tub of fresh ground almond butter from Natural Grocers on hand. I adore hazelnuts, but never buy them because I don't typically see them where I shop. Maybe I should look for them! 😃
