Another hot day today. I think our stretch of below average temperatures are over. Supposed to be between 98 and the low 100's for the next 7 days in the Sacramento area. It's usually 3-5 degrees cooler where I am but that means nothing at this level. I've got a couple of buckets of water out for the wildlife and I often see the deer and wild turkeys drinking the water. I put out an old plastic litter box and fill it with water so the squirrels and get the water.
My scale is driving me nuts. I posted my weight a couple days ago, so excited I was down again. Ever since then the weight has been about 2 pounds higher with no change in what I'm eating. I just want a scale I can feel somewhat confident in. So I bought a new scale since it's Amazon Prime day. Just a basic scale, don't need all the bells and whistles.
I was outside around 7am raking up leaves and dried up weeds that had been weed whacked. Almost filled up the yard waste container before I ran out of energy. The weeds have so many stickers. Bobby gets stickers all over him and even the deer that sleep under my deck have stickers on their faces. The ground is too dry to pull the weeds out. I've asked my yard care service to try to figure something out.
