Had a great day yesterday finally celebrating Christmas with my kids, their families, and my Mom. I ate way too much, but the good news is I'm finally over the bug I've had and had no problems. Considering all the carbs and sodium my weight isn't bad, up about 3 lbs this morning. Today will be light eating and lots of water. One more hurdle on Saturday - my wife and I are taking my Mom, oldest daughter and oldest grandson to see Mary Poppins at Toby's Dinner Theater. I'll eat very light prior to that in preparation. Then will be ready to buckle down, work hard getting to my goal weight, and continue to increase my fitness level.
One of my kids gave me a Bullit dessert machine that can be used to make healthy frozen desserts. That will be fun to play around with and come up with good healthy recipes for treats that won't derail me from my plan. TGIF - have a great Friday and weekend.
