Waking weight this morning of 227lbs, down 4 lbs from yesterday after light eating of about 1100 calories and two 45 minute exercise sessions. Doing 16:8 fast today, won't eat before 12:00 noon but might push that back another hour or so I can get some exercise in during the fast.

I've been doing a lot of reading on alternate day dieting, intermittent fasting/calorie restriction, and nutrition as it relates to overall health and inflammation in the body. The more I learn, the more I'm thinking that's the way for me to go. I'm also looking into the benefits of CAL supplements, if anyone has used them I'd be interested in your thoughts. Bill - it's conjugated linoleic acid, you probably have already found that out. I read about it in a book on preventing heart disease, so far I've found information supporting both pros and cons regarding it. Thanks everyone for the support.
