Finally made it to the new grocery store, and, bonus, I biked there and my knee wasn't too stiff. Resisted the swarms of staff offering free sweets, well, I had one coconut macaroon.

A lady in line at the very busy grocery store hit me with her cart no less than 8 times today, after the 2nd time I turned and said, "I know it's a big target, but could you try and resist?" She apologized, but it didn't stop her or her kids from doing it, but I decided to just not let it get to me. It wasn't going to kill me, after all.

Received a shipment of Nature Box snacks. I am impressed with the ingredients and the tastes are pretty good. I think I better stick to once every other month on them, but it's nice to have something ready-made to snack on instead of always having to make from scratch.

Glad you made it to store- sorry about rude customers- were having a big rain storm here- Hurrrrraaay relief from heat - Sept and October is just as hot as rest of summer in Florida- FRIENDS coming in from out of town- no complaining about heat & humid Fl weather while they are there visiting- we should all have fun this weekend You do a great job cooking- between work and housework I just never put the energy towards cooking from scratch- but at least I am not going through the drive thru at fast food restaurants as much Congrats again on weight loss!!!

Nature Box does look healthier than the run-of-the-mill supermarket snacks. The "granola" bars at grocery stores should be called what they are, which is candy bars.

Glad you made the bike ride to the grocery store without your knee giving you too much trouble. You handled the rude bumping well. Eight times is over the top!

Haha; love your humor! Good job on avoiding what I guess you would call "aisle rage" instead of road rage. Geez, how do you eat a snack every other month? That's will power!

Haha, DairyKing, I should have said I won't buy the Nature Box every month, there's five different snacks in there and I try to stick to only one serving per day of a "snack" type food, either something from the Nature Box or a homemade muffin. Not always successful on that. Plus my daily coffee indulgence.

Hmmm Socolova, that's good to know. Nature Box is only doing a beta program to Canada at this point so we don't get to choose our snacks, but if it goes "live" then I look forward to trying those. There is a lemony fig bar in this box that is quite tasty.

LOL, "aisle rage". Can I use that as a defense in court?

Ahh, you don't get to select a "pantry"? that stinks.....

Ya, it does. We have to call to put our shipments on hold too!

HMMMMM, I only did it 3 months and I STILL have snacks I haven't touched yet....it's a great idea, I just couldn't keep up...

That's a good point, for a single person, that's a lot of snacks. I have freeze 2/3 of a batch of muffins to keep them from going stale. Thanks for the good feedback, I'm still deciding if I will continue it. I don't know if I have the will power to have the snacks around all the time.

No prob! I wonder if you have a friend who would "share" the subscription with you?? Just an idea :)
