Good morning everyone! I bounced back yesterday with a well thought out and followed eating plan. Kept my sodium low (recommended less than 2300) so that should help flush out the extra fluid retention from my poorer eating choices the day before. Still haven't weighed in, just trying to focus on eating healthy and being active.
I didn't exercise to exercise yesterday, but I did do a lot of errands. Got new tires, which I desperately needed before the snow starts to fly, and I got my grocery shopping done. I also cleaned out my vehicle, got three loads of laundry done, picked up and swept, and had dinner done by 4 so the husband and kids had something to eat while I was in class. A mother's work is never done. My daughter helped out by washing the dishes for me while I was at school. Chores are voluntary for her now that school is back in session, and I'm so proud of my lil lady for being such a big help.
We are supposed to be having a potluck in class tonight, crap. I haven't really thought that one through lol. I have to take something, it's for a nutrition assignment. Maybe I'll take a veggie tray or something. Something healthy for me to munch on while everyone else is stuffing their faces. I'll take a veggie tray, nobody will eat from it and then I'll have some healthy veggies at home for the kids and I. It's a win-win lol. Everybody else there might be new to the whole tracking calories and macros thing, but I'm a pro. The other day in class the teacher was like "I'm sure nobody has a scale at home to weigh their servings hahahaha"... I didn't point out that I do, because as it turns out being nutritionally conscious isn't really cool. Who knew? At least you guys think I'm cool.... Right?! lol
So in a little bit I'm going on a bike ride with a friend of mine. That will be my exercise for the day as well as a venting session. Another win-win.
So proud of my little man! I drive him to school now; I hug him at the door and off he goes... all on his own. Every day there are a couple moms there with crying kiddos and my heart really goes out to them. My son was scared about kindergarten too, but he never broke down like that. He may have walked in with tears running down his cheeks in the beginning, but he walked in on his own regardless. What a tough lil guy. He is starting to enjoy kindergarten, and I'm sooo grateful!!!
As always thank you all so much for the kind words and support. I love reading your comments, sorry I don't always have time to reply to them.
Have a great day!! :)
