Ash is 11 weeks today and has already doubled her body weight. Not bad in 3 weeks. She has grown so much and is thrieving on her natural diet. The manufactured puppy food is completeley ditched. Anybody need 12kg sack of high quality puppy food?
Things are settling down and I managed to exercise for the 1st time in ages yesterday. It felt so good to sweat!
My daughter was home over the weekend and it was very interesting to learn about her way of eating. She is sort of following the vegan raw 80/10/10( meaning 80% carbs, 10% fat and 10% protein) diet but isn't going the whole hog and adds cooked rice, potatoes and roasted veg in. She starts the day with a smoothie made of 6 bananas and 10 dates. Its so sweet and yummy.
I don't think I could eliminate meat completley but eating a lot more fruit as your sorce of carbs makes sense to me. We should eat what we are designed to eat. Mostly fruit for me - mostly meat for my dogs.
My digestive system is so much happier since I am dairy free. Thinking of all the years of discomfort......why didn't I try it earlier????
I am wearing a little smile on my face today. I am not sure why I am so happy but its a wonderful feeling and I will cherish it.
