puhpine's Journal, 28 Apr 14

goodmorning soulmate, friends, buddies and readers.

Just as i thought, all the salt in the food gave me a small increase in weight, Tonight is spinningclass, so if i go easy on the salt, i will be fine tomorrow... we will have to wait and see. but i feel like the end of this week i should have a solid foothold in that 85.something range!!!

it takes me about two weeks each time to drop 1 kilo, and i believe that is an acceptable weightloss. Sure, i wish it was faster! I wish just like everyone that it was just a bad dream i had for 40 years and i could just zipper off this artificial-fat-suit. but life being life, that is not the way it works.

40 weeks, if i can keep this up... that is less then 9 months... that is less then a year... i can make a baby in that time (*lol*) but i have to lose more then the weight of a baby, i have to lose the weight of a 5-year old (*lol*) delivery is going to be painful!!!

have a fun day, everyone!!!

Maud... There's a post we occasionally bump ahead which gives examples of what we've lost. Good for a giggle. I'll find it if I can find it, or just copy it and post it as a new post.

Quote 40 weeks, if i can keep this up. Unquote If is a very bad word indeed. It is full of negative vibes along with doubt. IF is a word we should never use when it comes to weight loss except for one expression and that is this............................. IF I had never put weight on in the first place.................. Forget the IF Maud and get ya A**S into gear and do something positive no IF And or BUT JFDI

Dear Bwy, you KNOW i will FDI!!! the problem is that i have no control over the weightloss, i just have control over my actions and choices that may amount to possible weightloss... I will keep up what i been doing, i don't know if the weightloss will, that is out of my control...

I think half a kilo a week is pretty close (maybe a bit up?) from the 1lbs a week that is suggested here in the States. So it sounds like you are doing excellent to me =) You baby/5 year old analogy made me laugh =)

Yeah, I'm one of those are saying, "who the hell is this guy"? It doesn't apply to everyone. We are all created differently. Man vs woman. That in itself makes a difference. Then there are those pesky hormones we women have to deal with. Then we get slammed with menopause... never did figure out why they call it "men"... it should be womenpause. Yeah. Wish it was that simple. It would be a perfect world. :~)

Yes Classic Thank You! Us women have to deal with hormonal issues that men do not have to. I will be going along fine and all of a sudden my weight spikes...nothing has changed...just what my hormones are doing. Especially now that I am in my 50's. The golden years my bU**. We also do not build muscle the same. So where a guy can start lifting and look buff in no time...woman can't. Even when we get muscles it is different. You cannot compare an apple and an orange. Yes they are both fruit...but one is citrus the other is not. They both come from a blossom...but they are different.

Your doing great !!! Enjoy your class

Agree with you 100% Kmunson, women and men are 100% different in every way when it comes to both weight loss and muscle building. Women do take longer to build muscle and can never build as much (not without chemicals, anyway) but the effort WILL still yield results. :)

"who the hell is this guy": we agree that in-out= weightloss ... "In" - you can control what you are going to eat. "Out" you can control how much you are exercising and at what intensity level. However: *** You can only change, what you can control! *** the weightloss is a mere result of my efforts, therefor not in my direct control ... (unless i get a knife ... lets not go there)

Yeah, we would all like to unzip our artificial fat suits, lol. 1 kilo every two weeks is perfect. Slow and steady wins the race.

OH Maud... haven't we all thought about whacking a hunk of inner thigh or a few slices off the glutes and hips.
