puhpine's Journal, 28 Mar 14

Goodmorning everyone,

From two independend sources i heart there was too much negativity in the journals, too much i can't, i didn't, i wish ...

Have made myself quilty of this too... So today positive thoughts only!

instead of SSDD - i write:
I really look forward to boxing today, its a complete workout and i am always nice and tired afterwards.

i don't have a lot of muscle ace from yesterday. I had arms-day but i tried to do armsday at home, and the exercises wheren't ready yet to be done at home. So i did a lot less then normal. I ordered a set of dumbbells at the end of the exercises so next week will be a lot more challenging.

weigh-in was ... how on EARTH am i going to be positive about THAT, grrrrr, eh.... weigh-in was ... on time? i got up this morning and first thing i did was weigh in, so it was the right time to weigh in... And weigh in was ... naked ... i like being naked so that was a pleasurable experience for a small minute...

(*please make me stop*)

Good Morning Maud. I read your journal with a smile (and evil thoughts)and note we seem to be on the same boat. I do like your approach to a positive attitude and will support that every inch of the way. As you can see my weigh in this week produced an increase but you can also see my reaction to it. I look forward to actually SEEING you weigh in next time....lol

I have to say I disagree on the negativity deal. Even when you are talking about something negative you always do it with a sense if humor. I clicked through your last couple weeks and honestly see no more or less negativity them most journals on the site- and I read a lot of jounals on here, lol. It's my favorite part of the site going through the feed with 'everyone' selected and reading it all. So I think I have a pretty decent cache to judge that from. Journal they way you need to journal to make this work for you. Whether that means being more consciously positive or being more honest about what your dealing with or whatever. The rest of us can choose to read it or not ;-)

this is funny enough (and even funny reading the comments Bey39!!) to dispell any negativity you have significantly brightened up my day so Thanks for that :0)

On a positive note Maude. If you would consider taking up wrestling instead of boxing I would join you of that I am "positive"...lol (Bwy runs to collect mud)

Another positive note - look how much you've progressed since you began! One week with increase = one minor setback in the journey. Have a great weekend.

Just how "independent" were those two sources, lol? I treat journalling as a semi-private rambling session which people are free to read or ignore. I am a fairly positive person, but when I need to journal the most, it's likely I am struggling with something, so it won't always be "positive" in tone. I think people overthink this stuff. I am only concerned about people RESPONDING to someone's journal in a less-than-positive way. THAT would be a problem. We need to be supportive and only call people on their issues if we have a relationship with that person that makes it safe to do so (as in, they do it to me, I can handle it, and I do it back, all in the name of making me and them more accountable). The wrestling (mud included, as Bwy29 was so quick to suggest, lol) sounds comical and would for sure necessitate a nice hot bath afterwards!
