73lbs down as of this morning.
BMI today- 30.2 (down from 42.4)
Percentage of weight lost- 27.76%
Sunday will be 8 months since I started this journey.

Ive had a tough week...we had eaten red meat 4 of 5 days last week (bad, bad, bad) and I have had a horrible attack of body rebellion since Monday! My body has freaked out because I am used to eating so clean, and I eating even lean red meat that much in a short time screwed me up...I have gastritis. It's not been pleasant.

Yet another deterrent to me going off the eating plan.....painful gas, bloating and digestive hell. Not doing that again! Once a week for a meal with red meat in it, or twice a week spread way way out maybe...but a steady diet of it and my body revolts.

I ordered some size 14 pants from Lane Bryant and realized something...this is probably the last purchase I will make from there, as they dont carry smaller than a 14 either in store or online. It was a weird thought. From here on out (and prob even now) I will be able to easily buy off the rack from most stores....like just walk in, get my size and thats it.

Thanks, Miller! I am 25lbs from goal (my goal, which I had changed to an even 100lbs..I changed it back to the original today) When I get closer to that, I will re-evaluate things then.

Off-the-rack at the "Not a Ms. Plus" store or section is the BEST feeling ever! Only been able to once or twice in my life. Seriously, I rank it high...right up there with looking in my new-born son's face. It was SUCH a rush!

That is awesome! What a great feeling it must be to have that last lane bryant order. Bravo!

Awesome!! You have some mad motivation. It took me way longer to get to where you got in a matter of months. Kudos!

I'm lucky(?) in the fact that if I dont keep a good diet going, I get sick and feel horrible. I have hypoglycemia, and I cant drink a Coke, or eat a piece of cake or a bunch of simple carbs without crashing and messing myself up for a few days to a week. It's a great deterrent to know how awful it could be, and stops me from eating burgers or candy bars or tons of bad carbs. The exercise (which I forget to log more than my food lol) helps give me energy and every pound I lose makes my blood sugar stay more even. It's been a long road to health....and I still have a ways to go, but I NEVER want to go back to how sick I was.

Sugar affects me the same way. Your success is very inspirational, and I'm excited to see your progress!

My blood sugar would get so low, my doctor said she didnt know how I was not having seizures all the time or how I didnt go into a coma! My old WOE was literally killing me. It's sooo much better than it was..I feel normal most of the time now!

Great job on getting out of the plus sizes!! I'm so happy for you! Amazing work you've done so far with your weight loss and lowering your BMI :)

Wow. That makes it even more awesome! Double kudos on staying healthy in spite of it all. :)

You are inspirational! I am back into the non-plus size zone, too. It feels weird to be ordering things in size L instead of XL. I have always been slightly hyopglycemic, too. Even though I like sweets, I find myself craving hummus and multigrain chips instead of something sweet because it equalizes my blood sugar a lot better. Good for you for choosing what makes you feel healthier.
