Keeping your heart rate in check...

Happy 😃 happy 😃 Friday...

Today’s workout was alittle different in zwift....was a ride in London...12.17 miles..but kept my eyes on my heart rate....my max is set at 150... today’s ride was about keeping it lower then that...most of ride no problem...cept when it came to a small hill...had to put more energy into it....naturally didn’t get the miles I wanted...but that’s ok...I wanted to keep my heart workout less then I normally give it...usually I’m hobbling to recliner...waiting for heart to catch up with me...today was nice to not be out of breath or even feeling tired....and still got a great ride....

Weighed in..then forgot to record...and naturally after the ride completely new numbers....

Not sure what’s in store for rest of day...hopefully another ride..after noon...that seems to give me enough time to recover...on days I feel like an extra ride...

My day ...Shrewdness...starts everyday at 4 am...even days off...lol...gotta wake up with a workout in...great motivator for rest of day

Just finished 45 min...10. Mile ride in zwift....heart rate was barely higher...trying to get in habit of riding easier...and still getting miles in by end of year....listen to body...it knows when it’s to tired to do an extra ride....

Awesome workout Wannabhealthier!!! I get my heartrate target-zone is 120 bpm. I take my own pulse at the height of my cardio session that I do @home by myself. My hubby used to jump along w/me, but he's not been motivated to do so for about 2 12 years now. Anyways, if my heart rate goes to 130 bpm, that just means I am more conditioned and my body is doing faster/harder work on it's own and surpassing what I feel I need to be doing. lol It's all good as long as you don't forget your cool down. A cool down is just as important as a warm-up in the beginning of any workout. Also, if you want to lose weight/fat, it's best to do cardio/workouts b4 eating anything: This way, you burn fat, not muscle. Then, just have a satisfying soup, salad, protein bar/drink, or fruit/veggie smoothie. Otherwise, what is a "zwift"? :)

Ty Slow meta...i do my morning workout in a 16 to 17 hour fasted mode...i use a wahoo chest strap... to sync everything over to syrava...even my second ride..was fasted with only electrolytes...
