Am making a second journal entry because I may need a little help staying out of the chocolate tonight. DH isn't coming home until tomorrow (roads are still horrible).

Now that I've had my pity party I'll have a cup of herb tea and go to bed early.

Ruth - I like to think of myself as a practical person. I understand why he has to work out of town and I understand that the roads are treacherous. But I have been snowed in all day! Now he isn't coming home. This just plain sucks! There - is that a better pity party?

It will be okay. I have been having a pity party ... okay just a party, no pity. LMAO! We are expecting snow all weekend. We got 12 inches or more. Hope hubby can dig out the truck. We knocked the snow off both vehicles but we are supposed to get another 2 inches overnight.

I'm with them! I bought Dove Dark Chocolate hearts. A full serving is 6, but I only have two which equals 70 calories. Not too bad. Sorry your husband can't get home. Have a great Valentine's Day. We're here for you!

Draglists idea is pretty amazing. I also add flax or chia along with the protein. Makes for an interesting taste. I've also added sugar free jello into the yogurt and cottage cheese. Gotta' come up with something different to prevent boredom.

I buy myself a bar of Lindt Excellence 90% Cocoa and have a square with tea at night once in a while. It takes care of that "gotta have chocolate" moment.
