northernmusician's Journal, 11 Feb 14

Well, after a week of travel, a forced deload (weightlifting vernacular for taking a week off) and eating by judging my portions since I forgot my scale and the little blowout at Tim Horton's (American's think Krispy Kreme) It would appear that I may have put on a little weight. A lot will be water and the effect of glycogen from the carbs.

Back at it tomorrow and will post a weight then. I imagine I'll be pretty close to the 170.6 that's shown right now. I'm sick and tired of the cut and am ready to eat at least at maintenance. The inability to track was a little annoying but the circumstances made it necessary. Family business is now in hand. Feel good about that. Very tough week though.

Back home and ready to get back into it. I can't wait to lift, but I'll put it off until tomorrow or perhaps Thursday. No. Tomorrow. My back is stiff from the lack of weight training. Ready to roll with the help of my friends here. Always willing to have more if anyone is interested. If you check what I'm doing over the next few days, please remember it's for two weeks max... if I can make it.

And a big shout out to my special little American friend. :) She may decide to come up here and beat some sense into me once she discovers what I have planned. I have no idea if I'll be able to manage it. lol. Stay tuned.

Oh brother, what in the world are you cooking up? Do I even dare ask? It was a tough week down here without you and many of us missed your ongoing supportive attitude that you are so generous with. Welcome home, friend. Two weeks of what? The suspense is killing us! LOL.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not. :| It will simply be an exercise in resolve. Have you heard of the breatharian? It's the belief that all a human needs to survive is oxygen and sunlight. :D Not doing that. I think you'd also need coffee.
