It's almost 5:30am. Can't believe we got through the night in my neighborhood without the power going out or, for me, the Dish satellite. Usually just a little wind will take out both. But power is out all over the place from Sacramento to the foothills with trees falling all over the place. The wind was blowing so hard that I went to the family room around 12:30 to be away from windows and sliding glass doors in case something came flying through them. I actually fell asleep on the sofa for an hour or so. It's much better now, but still windy and raining.
Monday is the 1st of the month when I will weigh myself and then I hope to go a month before weighing again. Hoping my low fat diet and sticking to the calories needed to maintain my DESIRED weight will result in about a 5-7 pound loss. Will see. Want to focus on the eating, not the scale.
