peeperjj and DP, it takes some willpower for me to resist the Flake, ice-cream and shortbread, so they are usually hidden behind other stuff. The other stuff, I bought when I discovered flexible dieting and realized I didn't have to give up everything in order to be healthy. Sort of went crazy and tried to relive my teenage years. Then I realized I either don't like or am not crazy about most of those things anymore. I still like seeing them to remind myself that I'm the one who controls them.

Chevre, Goat or Laughing would be fine. Cereal, especially Lucky Charms or granola, is a problem for me so I don't buy it a lot.

Nor do twinkies! 😆 We could call LC Chevy? I wouldn't be able to keep all those goodies around either. Into my freezer they go! For some reason out of sight out of mind. Chocolate is my weakness too.

Being the salad queen, it never goes brown where I am. Cookies are not my thing. I buy my treats when I want them and eat them in complete control. Nothing bothers me. I think never binging and never restricting has been my saving grace.

Maybe I need a salad spinner. I am famous for buying things and throwing it away which is disgusting to write and I know will piss people off. I am at the store and feeling very healthy and buying things that I never see again until I throw them in the garbage. Don't hate me. Yes- I know people are starving. I give much money to the poor-so get off my back. It's one crown of broccoli, a couple cucumbers, celery, - maybe anything green. I always eat my tomatoes though. (Well- usually) Yes, Petra- that does sound like a process. :)

I too do what Petra goes. The bags only last me a couple of days..it's crazy! I use the outer leaves of romaine for wraps n inner crunchier leaves for salad.
Broccoli is my fav so I eat that alot. Roasting it is the best! Yum!

The Petra-way is how I do greens too.
My husband went to the store for me to get apples, he came home with potato chips and ice cream.😬
Well, I don’t have to do anything to store that!! I guarantee the potato chips will stay crisp till gone and the ice cream will be fresh to end of the container.😩

While I hate wasting food or anything really, you can’t always avoid throwing things out unfortunately. So don’t feel bad about that and honestly, there’s not much nutrition in iceberg lettuce so if you are throwing that out no biggie lol. Next time I’ll add a dry paper towel to my lettuce and see what happens. I’ve always been told damp so that’s what I did. Never actually paid attention as to if it lasted longer. Just did what elder family members told me to do like a good niece lol.
