managed to do 8584 steps. did about 6000 steps,came in the house. went out a few hours later.
I do understand that without exercise I probably would be gaining a bit. so have to keep on with the walking.
just not so easy at 67 yrs to walk 2 miles In the winter..(sorry to complain,it was just easier in the summer.((

I absolutely agree with you. It’s much easier to be active in the summer!

Agreed. I am 50 and was attacked by a dog in the summer (with my two cocker spaniels) and haven't walked outside since. Still traumatized from trying to beat the dog off of my dogs after it knocked me into the gutter. I need to get in gear and start doing the steps inside.

You are doing great with the walking, no matter inside or out. Fresh air is amazing though. Kudos for getting in do many steps! I'm not a long distance walker. I do very short walks. Does add up. I do other exercises to keep the body humming.

The walking is so important for your health in so many ways that really don’t have all that much to do with weight loss in the grand scheme of things but is oh so important. Good for you!
