My weight is going down at a snail's pace. I need to be more active or eat less or both. One of these days, my weight is going to plummet! :)

Down is the right direction ... the issue is that it continues to go down. While it was going up we tend to ignore that increase and look for clothes that are a bit more comfortable. Now it's celebration time when you can fit into the clothes that you thought you'd never be able to wear again ... but celebrate with a nice walk in the park and not a "reward" that will defeat your goal.

Thanks, everyone. Definitely I want to be more active. I used to sit around a lot and only walk about 300 steps a day. <gasp> Now I get bored sitting around. I have been eating healthy for a year now, and lost 38 pounds in 2013. I'm in a positive mood!

Oops, forgot to add that the 300 steps a day increased to 1000 and then more, and now I am up to 2500 a day. I have some great days when I reach 4000 or 5000 steps. :)

Have I mentioned walking sticks? Both my wife and I use them and a fellow trekker who has had hip replacements. We haven't seen him for a few days and suspect he's having a bum hip re-worked on but they give a tremendous aid when walking up and down trails and allow us to extend our walks and add another level of physical activity to the walk. You're doing a great job keeping the weight in check and extending you walks ... just don't try a long walk if a Polar Vortex comes into your life. (Sorry, couldn't help myself. :D )

:D Polar vortex is gone! It was a bone chilling, face freezing -9 degrees F. After surviving that, 45 degrees is wonderful, a little cool, but so much more enjoyable. :)

I wish my weight was going down! A snail's pace DOWN is much better than going up, at ANY speed. Keep it up, gal, you / WE can do this together!
