Happy New Year!

Hot coffee on a cold morning - what a nice way to start 2014!

As for NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS, they are being put on hold, and this is why: I have pre-ordered the new book "The Calorie Myth". Until I actually get to read it I am unsure if I am going to "follow it" or just incorporate some of the ideas into my WOE. But either way, certainly at least one New Years Resolution will be gleaned from its pages.

Am now off to read your journals!

You'll have to fill me in....who's the author of Calorie Myth? Does it encourage the 18-hour fast? I know Issy has had success, as have others, with a fasting regimen like that. I hear you on the 2012 being easier than 2013. Here's hoping that 2014 is more like 2012!

Sandy I will answer for Buffy as we both are expecting the book this week. HAHA! Jonathan Bailor wrote it. It is supposed to be a no diet type of thing ... eat more, exercise less, live better. He supports any kind of diet as long as you eat real food --- nothing pre-packaged and lots of non-starchy veggies, protein (preferably fish and fowl and smoothies) and no sugar & grains. He uses xylitol or erythritol sweeteners and berries and citrus. ;)
