Looking for recommendations..... BLENDERS. Mine started smoking, so I guess I need a new one! 🔥🔥🔥 Anyway, I'm looking for one that's great for blending ice, and not made in China, so I'm okay shelling out a few bucks for something of quality. Appreciation in advance!

I will never use anything but a Vitamix anymore. I've tried several other brands that were okay but nothing has been better than the Vitamix.

Strongly recommend a Vitamix! You can get one at Costco for cheaper than retail. They’re great.

+1 on Vitamix although pricey. I got mine on special at Costco about five years ago

I believe Vitamix is great. I have a Ninja that also can make do smaller batches in a seperate cup. They are less expensive but very powerful. I love mine. The most used kitchen small appliance after the coffee maker for sure

Blendtec blender - they use them at Starbucks for those fancy drinks. I also have a Nutribullet.

I've had a Vitamix for about 25 years and love it. However! for just blending a quick smoothie I use the Nutriblullet Balance from Costco works just fine about $99-130.

I find the ninja is great for the price but obviously some higher priced ones do some cooler stuff but depends on what you need.

Costco has the Nutribullet blender combo for 99.99 right now. It's a regular blender or it has those cups to make it a smoothie blender.

I'm diggin' the idea of one of these brands made in the USA. All the reviews are really good too.

Chris, I think I drove my blender into a deep, dark depression. And it's stress outlet became smoking. Initially I didn't care, but second hand smoke is dangerous. And since I need to blend frozen fruit and ice, I decided to replace it with something that will care about me enough not to smoke around my precious, pink lungs. 😉

Vitamix cost near $500. Has a 2 hp Motor. I like mine. Comes with 2 canisters, 1 for wet and 1 for dry (like nuts).

First of all, tell your blender that smoking is bad for you (as is vaping). Secondly, I personally would go middle of the road. You could buy decent quality without breaking the bank and even if you go through 3 in the next 25 years, you’ll come out ahead. I replaced my blender when it started drinking and free-basing uncontrollably.
