Does anyone lose in waves? I normally lose fairly steadily, but lately it seems I stall for a week + then lose 4-5 lbs within a few days ever since I added in 20k+ steps a day.

I wish I would have those nice drops after a week of nothing. It only seems lately to happen when I’m dropping water weight. I’m hoping tightening my carbs I can get back to decent losses. But I will take a .1 oz too lol. 💜💚

@jcmama Ya, I will take anything for a loss too! I am fairly convinced the stalls are water weight as well in muscle or through sodium intake. It is all too frustrating to look at the food/exercise log and wonder why you aren't dropping when you are doing everything right🤷‍♀️ I think it is my excitement getting the better of me and wanting to hit my goal weight😊 I hope you get more whooshes jcmama!

Yes. when I'm actively trying to drop it may even go up right before it goes down. Used to make me nuts, now, I understand it better. big picture always helps.

What app is this? I really like the trending on it...

Yes, my ups are binge eating but the trend is going down. You can look at my weight chart. Looks like a seismic graph.

That's me, lately. I'll drop a couple of lbs, then stop. Maybe gain back 1, then lose it again before I lose a couple more. I figure any progress is good progress!

@jazzylittleone It is the Body Measurement Tracker app. I love the weekly/monthly/ all time looks as well 😊

Instead of straight walking if you do some interval training that’ll help that stagnation— if in a neighborhood then, walk a mailbox, run to the next mailbox, jog to the next, then walk, etc :)

Even when I'm doing everything right I rarely go more than four days without a gain. Just keep doing what you know works, and watch the overall trend, not the day-to-day. You're doing great! 🌈

Even when I do everything perfectly, I am up 25% of the time. Every month, I have at least two stretches of 5 days each where the scale is up and down and then it will drop. I track on a spreadsheet with a chart to help me visualize the pattern so I can attempt to tell myself not to get discouraged.
