OK - break over.
My biggest problem all last week is that after a long day I feel I "deserve" some goodies in the evening. What I really "deserve" is to start taking care of my body again.
Happy St. Patricks Day - got to get my corned beef into the crock pot!

Happy St. Pat's Day to you also. Corned beef is on my menu for today also, and I'll be cooking an extra one, for my sister, since she doesn't cook. Rather than having the traditional, boiled, cabbage with my corned beef; I like to fry mine with some of the excess fat trimmed from the corned beef, and some applewood smoked bacon. :-)

Happy St Patty's day to you Buffy...We are always having to adjust to any given break in our routine...Enjoy your corned beef..sounds yummy...:O)

Boy, oh boy, Buffy do I ever understand that "I deserve it" thinking! I think that's actually what got me into major trouble for a very long time. Of course, with me, it was "I deserve this..." after just about any unpleasant or boring task! And there are a LOT of those! I still do battle with that thinking and it will sneak up on me if I'm not paying attention. No real insights on how to make it disappear forever, though. (sigh) Happy St. Pat's Day....enjoy the corned beef!

Corned beef sounds sooooo good! YUMMY! Deserve it... Hmmm. That sounds like, cheat. Yesterday, I felt like something sweet, so I walked the dog to the store and got a Tootsie Pop, 60 calories. Can't say I deserved it, but it was in my calorie/allotment for the day, and boy was it yummy. I kept thinking ONE TWO Three, licks to the middle of a tootsie pop. You deserve it if it is your plan. Hope you can work that out and feel good/back on track. Enjoy the beautiful weekend!

YUMMO! Your dinner sounds good! I have had that in years. Hubby isn't into Corned Beef. How ya been? You sound good! I always want a treat in the evenings too. Try the Creamy Jello (made with cream cheese). It is like ice cream to me. LOL!

Rocky - Yes yum. DH didn't used to like it but I persisted every St Patricks Day, and now, after 20 years, he looks forward to it.

Bren - think I'm back on track now (although I've said that before). At least I'm tracking my food so far today. Not very interested in keeping track of Girl Scout Cookies!

Sandy - Oh how do we manage to do this to ourselves? Fortunately for me, you have made the mistakes ahead of me so I can follow your lead. Ever consider writing a book?
