It is a cold rainy Monday. Winter clothes back out for one more week.

I had some success on the weight loss front yesterday. First, I actually remembered to log my food. And even though I ate enough calories to feed a third world village - there was no snacking after dinner. At this point I am searching for any victories I can find.

Tomorrow is my scheduled weigh in, which I will do no matter what. Avoiding the scale won't change the facts.

I think logging is a lot of the success formula. I have trouble getting the evening foods logged. I have a sense of accomplishment when I get it all logged and am under my RDI. Doesn't happen too often, but yesterday was a very good logging and eating day. We went to the Outback Steakhouse with my s-i-law last nite. I had the 6oz steak and lobster. I had them sub a salad for the potato. Boy was the lobster good. Haven't had any for years. I came home and wonder of wonders, I didn't snack. Yay for us Buffy. Good luck on your weigh in tomorrow.

dboza - Good for you controlling yourself at Outback. Everything there is sooo good. And double contrats for not snacking at home. Maybe we will make it?

Well done on not snacking in the evening! I know this would help me too. Good luck on your WI tomorrow. If you don't snack tonight... you will have a loss for sure... I feel it in my bones. You can do it!

Mom - love your encouragement. But what you don't realize is that I have been a very bad girl. Tomorrow will be a day of reckoning. BTW - I just joined a "Under 30 Carbs/Day" Challenge (no invitations sent). I need to get back to basics!

I logged yesterdays foods in for the day, like you said to try. I did better. I'll do the same for today. Planning ahead and logging ahead like that makes sense. I'll try it again today. Thanks Buffy.
