BuffyBear's Journal, 02 Jan 13

I have to go home at lunch time to check on the dog. When I called him this morning, he lifted his head up and yawned, but wouldn't get up. Got to see if he is sick or was just feeling lazy this morning. In any case I'll probably find a puddle on the floor.

It is only my 3rd low carb day but already I am feeling much better, even though I've gained a pound. Not worried yet - will give my body some time to adjust.

Will check back later.

Hoping all is well with your dog. I agree it is an adjustment. I am sorely missing some of my non-induction friendly favorites (nuts, seeds and berries) but am plugging along without them. Wishing you GREAT Wednesday :)

Gigi, Bren & DiHappy - Pooch was fine, gobbled his food and wanted to play. Guess he just was still on "holiday time" this morning. Tomorrow I may have to physically get him up. Lazy dog!!!

LOL, Buffy, I was still on Holiday Time this morning too, so 4:45 am came wwaaaay to soon! My doggie-girl was no ball of fire either, I think she was glad I got on the excercise machine instead of dragging her outside...I could feel her eyeballing me, I think she may have run & hid if I brought out her running gear!

Buffy - Glad you dog is doing fine. Great that you already feel better. I can not really say that for myself. The carbs had a bigger impact than I thought. But I will get over it :-)

Jozette - I am feeling better, but remember, I am eating about 2,000 cals./day. I may weigh 200 by the time this challenge is over.
