I “fried” the Brussels sprouts in olive oil, chopped up a tiny bit of garden onions. And I added a very minute’ bit of blue cheese crumbles for creativity. I’m glad I only added a tiny bit. It was interesting but edible.

It looks really good. Good to experiment with foods even if not everything we do works out. Looking at your food calendar I have one suggestion for how to lower your carb: find a low carb ketchup. There are a few out there, Heinz makes one, where they use a sugar substitute and you get away with one carb per spoon

I always put blue cheese dressing on my burger and my brussels. It is an interesting blend!

I love to stir fry brussels sprouts. Learned to like them buy cooking them with bacon. Now I just like them as long as they are "brown" from stir frying or roasting. Still can't eat them steamed or boiled, reminds of when I was a kid and HATED them.

Liv001: I’ll look for that ketchup because I have to have it for so many foods I eat I have been trying to limit it to 1 tbls. But, I’ll look.

@Llamapalooza53, Walden Farms also makes a completely "zero" ketchup. It's available in our larger supermarkets on the top shelf of the "condiments and dressings" aisle.

I love Brussel sprouts and blue cheese. But I guess they aren't for everyone. I am trying not to use as much butter and I'm using Avocado oil and coconut oil. My husband last night told me he does not like avocado oil with his Brussel sprouts to keep it to coconut oil or butter. I'm not sure about EVOO, but maybe it was the oil Tate you didn't like.
