I usually always look at the glass is half empty. I don’t mean to but I typically am pessimistic. It’s not beautiful by any means. This has allowed me though to keep on working and working toward my goals.
Today and as of late my will power and patience has been tested. More than it has in a long time.
I’m telling myself to take a deep breath and breath ffs but it’s not working.
I feel so pent up and upset I’m bound to have an epic breakdown.
Anyone have any good de-stressing suggestions ?

Not relly... but sometimes it's good just to have good cry (instead of trying to be calm and collected)... I generally have a darn good cry in the bathtub a few times a week. :D Also, if feeling stressed and frustrated, angry-sex is great, if you got the option for that.

do you go to the gym? if yes, start calling it your SPA day 😁 and if you can get in the water ever better.

I like finding a private place and just yelling my head off. sometimes just letting it all out releases the tension. or beating on something until I release my excess ire.

Get out of the house and go for a walk - just try to get those thoughts out of your head - it can help sometimes. I have had my own little meltdown lately so I feel for what you are going through. Another thing I do is to put a pillow over my face and scream my head off - i usually end up laughing at myself and feel much better afterwards - if I don't I find a light box and toss it up in the air and hit it as hard as I can - repeat until your hand can't take anymore :) - hope you feel on top of things again soon!! You can do it!!!!

This may sound silly to some, but so be it. My stress reliever is to list all the things that I have to be grateful for. Out Loud. It's hard to be stressed or depressed when the list gets longer & longer. I'll start...I am grateful for the wonderful, non judgemental, supportive people on fs. Love y'all!

I have a punching bag at home. the pain and sometimes blood help center me. it's an output for frustration and aggression.
