Heat advisory today..good Thursday morning..should of been one yesterday...was a rather hot one as I cut grass yesterday..glad I got it done before lunch...was no breeze at all..hot an humid...

Therapy at 1 pm...having to drag myself to it...

Blood pressure this morning 128/69... beginning to think I’m burning sugar instead of fat..may have to start eating more fat or meat to get back into fat burning mode...haven’t figured it all out yet..

134/71...just had breakfast...would like to zwift and just do a nice s,ow 30 min ride...but would have to listen to waltzing music to keep the pace slow...lol...not sure I can listen to that kind of music...or go that slow...

Well.. need to change..get riding clothes on...yes even on trainer...I dress in bibs..gotta keep butt happy while riding...

The factor that you control for fat burning is the carbs - carb restriction is what puts you in ketosis

Gold star for me...8.1 miles on zwift..40.11 on time..was in no hurry..just wanted to get a ride in...listened to tabata music...but just gotta be in mood to crank them peddles faster..even inside with 2 fans on..it’s gonna be a. Hot one..

For ketosis yes carb restriction is the only factor that causes ketosis no sugar to burn means it needs to utilize fat for fuel, but even in ketosis for everything else you still have to balance enough protein and use fat intake as a lever. There also has to be some sort of caloric deficits but not extreme etc. And all of this has to be tailored to you own body and it’s specific needs. So my statement was very basic and should have been more detailed - the tailored for your own body is the science experiment part of it all! 😂🤪🧐🤓. So you are right it is more complex than I stated. I am sure that you will figure out what works for you and get to where you need to be. Everyone’s journey is their own and there is no one set path to take! We just need to wave and cheer each other on from our own paths and keep it positive!

Let me give you a pat on the back for continuing to get in a daily ride. Wannab, do you live near a gym? Maybe, it is time for some weight lifting with a certified trainer. I am convinced that weight training is what helped me loose so much weight and basically keep it off.

Having a healing rotator cuff and a bicep muscle not fully healed".im suppose to only be moving so much weight..needless to say...I’m sure if my therapist seen me doing half of the things I do...I’d be getting reprimanded....cause I sure don’t tell em anymore then I have to...that’s where the 12pound kettlebell is gonna come into a habit...can use both hands to support movement with it...on,y suppose to be lifting 5 with right side...
