It's crazy what you can do in 3-4 months. Lost 10-15 pounds of fat and gained back some lost muscle. The tan definitely doesn't hurt. The same bathroom, the same lighting so there is no "cheating" here. A little more emphasis on leaning forward but these are the closest pictures I could find. I'm even leaner now, I think I was 185 in the after shot, a couple weeks before my Tough Mudder.

Flexed traps for Chris here. Look at the difference in waist width. It's dramatic.

I mean, incline is awesome for the upper chest, idk how much it will improve your bench but since it should help with shoulder strength I'd say so.

I've never done shrugs as a regular part of my routine. Mine just grew from heavy deadlifts from when I was in my 20's.

And the difference here in the traps is mostly from the difference in poses. I may have regained some size there too but not much if any.

I may have to go for a longer jog soon to get an updated shot in the same restroom since I am down a good 5 pounds.

From a woman’s point of view... I prefer the first pic. I’m all for muscle and enjoy looking at it (as I would a nicely plated steak or a beautiful flower) I’d rather have my hubby well, not so hard? A bit soft around the edges I guess. That’s just my preference. Both pics are nice :). And I’d still steal the arms if I could lol. Just 20-25% 😝😁. You’ve worked hard and it shows 👏😉🙃.

Heh, I doubt you'd say that if I were shirtless and not flexing in both but we will never know since I would never post a shirtless pic if I ever looked like the before pic again. ;)

I know large muscles aren't very attractive to some women but it's not like I'd be doing a most muscular pose on the beach. I look much different relaxed.

I in no way meant that you didn’t look nice now (nice is the only word I can think to use so that you don’t think I’m coming on to you lol, Tarly respect Mrs D 🙂). Again I really like looking at muscle but well I’ve never touched a lot of hard muscle so I assume it would feel like a steak. Give me a few months and maybe I’ll have enough muscle to find out haha. Gonna leave Fs before I stick my foot clear down my throat ;).

@keilin, simple curls and tricep extensions where you lay on your back should work for arm size.

Great accomplishment Diablo!!! I love to lift heavy but I need to get more lean and vascular. Besides, my joints are starting to give me fits. 3-4 months huh, well I think I am motivated and stubborn enough to do it. I think I will take a pic soon and see my progression down the road. Thanks for the motivation bro. Well, today is leg day so on the slate is 340 squats and 430 deadlifts (that's not too heavy right?)

Hey Diablo, I meant to ask how your workouts changed from the first pic to the second. Did you continue to make gains? or did you change it up with more reps. etc. Supplements? Thanks
