I found this a very interesting article. However, I would substitute the world "evolved" with "programmed." I stumbled across it while trying to figure out why I get so hungry every time I get near my goal of 10% body fat in sight. It seems like a depressing article at first, but the hope come at the end.

That article is fascinating! Thanks for the share. I see the degree of resistance we're up against lol .. It does seem for me that every 10lbs there's a real struggle to move it on more. And definitely I feel I have a set point I think its around 142-145lbs . I seem to keep going back to that level no matter what workout, what whole food or whatever I do. Still knowing this, I think has made my resolve even greater to win this battle. I'm a bit the same I get down to 139-140lbs and I start dreaming about food and can't sleep lol . The tricks played on us!

I really feel that work is the only way to achieve what you want....Diet is limited ... We evolved and survived by.our boddies demanding that we eat, and then storing that fat for an emergency.. Think of it as a savings account. Out here in real life it sucks living paycheck to paycheck... we don't feel comfortable when savings is empty, how much moreso are our bodies going to react when the savings account is getting low? Biologically we are programmed to go into panic mode, get hungry all the time, and store fat as soon as our brain recognizes we are depleting it! So it's no wonder these things happen.

I've always thought that everything has a life of its own, and strives to survive. Even fat cells. It's just something that I intuitively believe, being right or wrong...
