It could be nothing. Stress, too much water, too little water, not enough sleep, ate something with a little more salt, etc. I know where your coming from though. It's a scary thing to see the numbers go the wrong way.... You've got this. You've come a long way and you're not going to let a measly pound throw you off your game. It's just a number. Next week it'll be a different number.

1/211 = .004739 of your weight. It's a blip, don't let it throw you!!! If you lost 89 lbs without ever experiencing an unexplained increase you are quite unusual.

I have little ups and downs all the time - depending what I eat, whether or not I work out - so many factors. It's all part of the journey - don't sweat it!

Weight can actually fluctuate about 2-5 lbs a day which is why some say to not 1) weigh yourself every day and 2) rely on the scales to show you your progress. You are doing great!!!

You are doing great. Keep plugging away

So you lose 89 pounds, "gain" a pound and now you're dying inside!? Don't overreact, and if you are starting to gain adjust your eating.

You do you. You've every right to be scared of regaining. After that much weight loss, you may need to do some readjusti ng with your diet. Try not to panic, stress hormones are like land mines blowing sugar into your blood stream.

I sometimes skip log-ins. I hate to see that little line bump back up, but it's real and I should own it. One pound will not make an enormous difference; you probably need a good trip to the bathroom! Hang in there and keep doing everything you've been doing, because it's working!

Congratulations on near a 90 pound loss. I'd say, that when you are able to do that, you are very capable, and in control of what you are doing. Your worry indicate that you may be feeling hunger? If so, try to do some more eggs, meat and fish. That is primarely what is needed to remove hunger. These foods are practically impossible to get fat on too. In a nutshell, our bodies need a constant supply of protein, as it can not be stored in the body. Fat and carbs on the other hand can be stored. Your body has probably become for efficient with fat, so you could try to dial down your fat and carb intake a smidge to break through that plateu you may have hit.

wow, I've been in your shoes for sure. I altered my diet a bit when this happened. Currently, I'm having a weekend day be my high-carb/high-cal day followed by a couple lower carb/cal days and medium carb/cal, etc. It seems to trick my body into thinking it needs to work on burning off high cals/carbs all the time!

Ugh the scale is a bastard! Don’t get upset! You are doing an amazing job! There are soooo many reasons the scale could go up! Did you eat enough fat to gain a pound in a day? Probably not right? Stick to your plan, it must be working for you with all that weight loss! If it’s not, look at what you are eating and adjust and you’ll be back on track!

You are doing great, convince your self of that too. Actually the body can show up to 6 lbs of water weight (see Ketocalculator.c) You can add the om. FS usually doesn't like site addresses. I don't like entering every small dip because it is more frustrating. Onward!!

I’ve been in maintenance mode for a couple of months and I still freak out when my weight goes up and down by a pound or two. I’m getting better about the normal fluctuations though, probably would say keep an eye on it and don’t sweat it too much.
