Stay at home day for me today. I had already planned to take today off to go to California to see my mom and aunt. Decided I would still take the day off and hang at home.

Wish I felt a little better. I think I might be coming down with something ... feels sinusy. Oh I hope not!! Took some ibuprofen earlier for the throbbing in my jaw. Woke up HUNGRY so I just fixed myself an egg/ham concoction. Coffee is percolating as I type ... can't wait until my first CUP (I'm not addicted, really I'm NOT!!).

Rumor has it we might have some decent weather this weekend. We will likely take a drive to look at another potential campsite for when the weather truly gets better this summer. No other major plans for the weekend other than the normal chores.

This is Day 5 of my protein challenge and all is well. 10.4 lbs down as of this morning. Certain I have not lost 10 lbs of fat in 5 days but it is pretty amazing. My birthday is coming up ... I'm hoping to stick pretty close to this challenge until then. Birthday celebration meal and then back at it!!! (feels like deja vu ... did I say that yesterday too????)

As Stef would say ... that's all to print that's fit ... from here!!!

Oh and Sharon asked me yesterday what I cooked for my husband for breakfast. I was so rude. I never answered!! (because I didn't come back to the site!!). Bacon, hash brown potatoes, and one egg ... over easy!!! Pink grapefruit juice and coffee. He's easy!!!

Love the decent weather rumour. You are my barometer for weather in the northwest. Glad the protein challenge is going well. You're doing great and right back on track! You haven't said (or have you) which day exactly is your birthday. Do tell, Carol.

Sharon I wish someone would make me breakfast too!!! LOL!!! Occasionally, on a weekend, my hubby does. Usually I am the chief cook though. Unless of course we go out!!! My birthday is April 15th and I will be a very young 54 years old!!! LOL!!
