This is the lowest I've been all year!!!

I really believed my weight spike was due to me being crazy busy and insane stressed because of grad school. This kinda proves the point! Cortisol is the real culprit, not laziness or lack of control. There is little me time in grad school.

WHAT WORKS / NUTRITION:
I'm being mindful of how much I eat. I'm not counting calories or eating vegan or doing atkins or anything. All these options work wonders for me when I get really committed to losing weight. But, I'm not ready for that yet. I was taking it slow these last 2 weeks as I transitioned back onto the weightloss wagon. Mindfulness is a good start.

FITNESS:
I am hitting it hard with fitness though. There was a day when I couldn't walk! Lol. I think my body is getting used to it now. :) At home, I'm trying to do 1 hour of HIIT combined with pilates, rotating days like this: 1) upper body, 2) lower body, 3) cardio, 4) rest/stretches. Eventually I want to add a second training in the day that is outdoors, like mountain hikes or beach power walks.

Happiness! I actually have the time to get back on track. My lowest was 143. That is now my new goal weight!
