Timg2500's Journal, 09 Feb 17

Ugh I'm a little annoyed with myself. I gave in yesterday to stress eating because I made a dumbass dad mistake. I got caught in a meeting, lost track of time and was late to get my kid from school. I feel SOOO sCrappy for doing that. I lost focus, got down, and gave in. I'm not that guy. Today is make up day. Both personally and with my family. It's time to pick up the pace, regain the focus on the goal, get my mind right, and finish this thing. I have been fighting weight issues for 12 years . I'm 2 months from not having to worry anymore. To just say "I'm good".

There's nothing worse than feeling like you disappointed or let down family. Still logged a loss, that's a positive, keep swimming!

You have to realize that sometimes you will be late to get the kid(s). Do not beat yourself up over it. You are a good dad - it was one time. Trust me - your kid won't hate u for it!

I've done worse, pick yourself up, brush off, do the best you can and forget about it. You know where you're going, and the way to boot.

Happens every once in a while. Don't worry, everything'll be straightened out. I'm sure your family understands and forgives you, especially if they realize how strongly you feel about your mistake. That's what families do, right? :)
