Now it's try to get back to whatever counts for normal, the weather's not too bad at the moment so i can get some gardening done on my allotment. I have a muscle problem in my thigh after my hip op, so can't do lots of walking- I may just go for swimming, but I find it boring, however needs must!

Did you have a hip replacement? That would really slow down your progress. Good luck with the restart

I actually had a hip op nearly 4 years ago- it has left me with weakened thigh muscles so not helpful with exercise- I get my exercise from my allotment. Unfortunately this time of year- in the winter- i can't do much work on it outdoors, but I am starting to sow seeds now, ready for planting out in a couple of months. Good luck with your weight loss.
