Timg2500's Journal, 03 Feb 17

Am I allowed to be confused? I know my calories are under maintenance for sure, so I'm sure it's fine.

Got in my 3rd HIIT workout last night. It was kind of a light night but not bad.

Stayed on my 3 meal plan and didn't snack. It was actually fairly easy and I like it! I need to plan out my meals for today now. My calories were right on target.

Uuumm... muscle from new HIIT workouts..? Maybe something to do with hydration or digestion?

@ Meadow --> Yeah that's what I'm guessing, plus the new eating pattern literally puts my meals later in the day so it could just be dead weight. I'm not stressing about it because ultimately as long as my BF stays the same it'd actually be a really good thing.

@Draglist --> I want to join that site so bad! I tried but you HAVE to have one of those $150 wifi scales and I would much rather save that for a future kit car. ha.

Tim, I have TrendWeight synced with my Fitbit account, and I don't have one of those scales. I have a Fitbit Flex and enter my weight manually on the Fitbit website. (I used to enter weight only on FatSecret, and FitMess would transfer it automatically to Fitbit, but that part of the data transfer stopped happening when I got a new phone or the FitMess site changed. So now I just log my weight to Fitbit myself, with DoNote or on the Fitbit app/site.) I just checked, and you can get a free Fitbit account even if you don't have a Fitbit yet. It appears to be a trial account to get you interested in purchasing a device, but it's not clear if the free account ever expires.

I've actually had a fitbit account for a while (lost my zip a couple years ago). I just entered in my weights manually and BAM it WORKS! it's a beautiful site and I'm apparently right on track :)

Yup! -1.0lbs per week which is pretty well where I want to be. The only thing is it seems like the trend line is really high compared to all the actual data points. https://trendweight.com/u/0a4f12c231c74a/chart/4w.png

Well, it's a moving average, so it's not based on the contemporaneous data points but on a historical set of data points. It's backwards looking, not forward looking (and you weighed more in the past). But it becomes significant in real time if you break above/below the moving average trend line.
