Hi everyone, I feel like I am happy to "start over". I made my goal and now it's time to lose 50 pounds. Time to recommit to healthy eating, fasting, and exercise.
I notice that it is harder to fast when I am massively stressed out. Yesterday I was "white-knuckling" it because all I wanted to do was go eat - anything bad - in large quantities - so I would "feel" better.
One book called the "Little Book of Big Change" refers to our emotions as a river - always changing, always flowing and moving. So I knew if I hung in there, despite feeling like I was "gonna die" if I didn't feed my urges, that it would pass. It did pass and I was proud of myself for hanging on while it did.
I am not going to start fasting again until next week. I have to get through this software release at work - it's so stressful to be under the gun every moment of every day.
