Well, husband's vacation did me in. OR I SHOULD say I did myself in. Went all the way up to 165 and am now back to 155. Took about 4 weeks to gain it all. Still went to the gym but ate whatever whenever I wanted.

Did I feel bad? Kinda.

Did it taste good? Yes.


It's almost like looking at someone else when I act like this. Horrible and out of control. Scavenged the cupboards last night and found an old protein bar and a VERY old Atkins bar. Ate both. Did NOT eat the pastry I got for my husband. There were 3 of them and I knew if I ate one, I would eat all.


I started an "arms" program and am in the second week. Using free weights and some machines.


I know I CAN do this, it's the "WILL" that seems to be getting me down...


Feel like crying....:-(

It is definitely harder if there is no one around you eating the same way. Hang in there! You can do it! And you will!

Oh no! Don't cry, it's common to have set backs, you are a human, not a robot. We fall down, get back up and dust ourselves off, it might take a little longer but we do it. The fact that you know you struggled is good. YOU GOT THIS!! Keep up the good work!

So I'm not the only one who still craves "anything available". I swear i'd eat uncooked pasta if it weren't for my dental crowns. Addiction is hard to overcome. I feel your pain. For me, I'm trying to face the truth that I'll never be able to relax my disciplines for low carbs. I am beginning to see that one bite leads to annihilation. I know tha t I am only one mouthful away from "3 honey dipped doughnuts please." Go with God...🤔

Good job on the pastry. I hate to say it but been there done that. I think you just have to put it behind u and continue on your healthy way! That's what I am doing, today, right now. And yesterday too :-) you can do it u know how for sure!! Hope you have a good day.
