Had some issues with my blood sugar crashing. Doing < 20 carbs with my diabetes is a little tricky. The first week I was eating < 1000 calories a day and < 20 net carbs. The second week my blood sugar kept dropping below 60 and I had to eat an orange or blueberries or take some candy. I'm trying to add avocado into my diet to raise calories without raising the net carbs. I will work with my doctor to adjust my meds this week.
I had my church festival this weekend. We got rained out today. I worked a lot of grueling hours in the hamburger / hot dog booth. Hot and Smokey. First time chairperson.., oh boy. I did eat a Hamburg on Friday night, just to understand the product I was selling. Umm Umm good. Sunday had a family BBQ, I did not eat anything illegal, except, my sisters homemade rhubarb/strawberry pie. It was an eight inch pie shared with 20 people. This is the reason the rest of my family is thin. Imagine one twentieth of a pie.
On to week three....full steam ahead...
97.5 kg Lost so far: 21.3 kg.    Still to go: 38.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
