This. This jumped out at me today and immediately my mind said YES. THIS. We are not ones who "life happens" to. We are ones who happen to life. We look at circumstances and decide how we will react. We realize that to every viewpoint, there are 3 others we haven't even imagined. There is always something to learn. About the world, other people. Mostly about ourselves.

When you think you haven't done much, look back and step back. See the big picture. Just being here, you show courage to change the "I'll never do that" into "I'm not powerless. Let's see what I can do with this." You don't realize that you inspire people (known and unknown) in many ways and if someone told you, you'd probably fluff it off. Don't. Acknowledge and embrace it. It's important for you to know. And it's important for others to feel heard when they tell you.

So today when you're dragging butt, tired of the monotony of the same food, REALLY not wanting to go to work or go to the gym, remember you're someone's inspiration. You're being noticed, whether someone says anything directly to you or not. They see where you struggle and it gives them courage that they can make it through their struggle. They see you conquer a challenge and they cheer you on and inwardly "own" it because they've been watching and pulling for you through your journey.

Don't. Give. Up. Not today. Just for today, give it one more shot. With heart. Go out and "happen" to your world. You've got this.

And by the way, YOU inspire me. Yes, you. Why? Because you're here and you haven't given up even when you'd rather be attacked by a plate of cookies and watch movies.
