I logged 8082 steps yesterday, the highest I've logged since starting the fitbit on the 15th. Came in 2nd in a challenge with my brother and beat out 2 others. My brother won but he's training for a trip and has been doing 10K a day +/- so I'm really pleased. It's brought out the competitive streak in me lol.

Today will be taking down the tree and decorations, getting in some movement (maybe starting another challenge lol), making some soup for my friend and definitely doing some shopping and grocery shopping. I have 2 eggs left! Just enough for a meal but need to restock. Hopefully everyone else has done their shopping and returning so there won't be many out and about to clog up the aisles.

I am about an inch too wide for my size 12s but about 4 more pounds and they'll close. I'm going to the office in Tampa the 12th/13th and want to be able to wear them so that's my short term goal.

Medium range goal is to see how much I can lose between now and 2/25 when my dad arrives for his visit and his birthday. I'm aiming for 170 but I'll be working hard to see where I can get. I won't berate myself if I'm a little short and I will be ecstatic if I can get past it.

Each day brings us closer to or farther from what we say we want. Each choice. Each time you say "I can do it" or "I'll never be able to do that" is a turning point, although a temporary one. If you aren't where you want to be, make a new choice in the right direction. Ask for help. Give a word of encouragement. Offer a hand. DECIDE where you want to end up.

Pay attention to your journey.

No one else is walking it for you. No one else gets to see things exactly the way you do. You get to be you. And who wouldn't want to be us? ;)
