Trying a few more calories and have been skipping the gym at night and walking an hour in the morning and evening instead. I have hanging skin, but walking is what seems to work for me. We'll see....

Walking is excellent. It sets and activity baseline, it burns calories, and anyone can do it. Add other activities as you feel the urge. You're getting close to green territory. :)

Walking is my "go to " work out when I cant do anything else. Do what works for you. I'm dealing with the "skin" issue too but 2 things that seem to be working or helping me is lotion, I'm using a Nivea skin firming formula I bought at cvs, 5 bucks and it had a coupon and working out at gym. The toning of the muscles is helping, SLOWLY. I have this horrible belly overhang and bat wings I hate. BUT, slowly its all improving... only time will tell.. Hang in there !

redgirl, thanks for the tip of the lotion. I will definitely have to get some. I have bat wings too. Yuck!

I read somewhere that skin recovery after weight loss takes about 1 year. Another item to test one's patience! I guess after that a person must consider cosmetic surgery, if it's at a truly objectionable level. I see ads for laser treatments but I don't know if they can help with this issue.
