Today is day 10 and I have lost a total of 11.8 lbs! I'm very pleased with that number. I am having a hard time getting all my veggies in. I'm planning on staying on induction until I consistently get in my 12-15 nc from veggies. It's hard when I am not hungry. Guess I should probably eat my veggies first (like my mama always told me). I'm not very good at planning ahead for meals so that has been my downfall. And one of my favorite veggies is spinach which has the lowest net carbs of any of the veggies I eat. Got my food scale yesterday :) That will certainly help.

Tonight is one of my very good friend's wedding. I'm going to skip the cake and alcohol. Truth be told I'm more sad about missing out on the alcohol lol. It's at 3 pm so I'm not planning on staying very late.

Sunday I'm going with the hubby to Sacramento Raceway to watch drag races. Will be packing a cooler with chopped up veggies (cucumber, peppers, broccoli) and other snacks - cheese sticks, pork rinds, jello. I'm planning on getting a cheeseburger there without the bun. It's going to be difficult to skip the ketchup but I think I'll manage.

If anyone has any ideas for easily portable snacks, please let me know! Wish me luck!

I have spinach in salads, I add it to veggie stir fry (tomatoes, zucchini, onions, garlic, spinach and sausage(or chicken or hamburger), and the other night I had creamed spinach. Yum!

My biggest problem is that I don't like to eat breakfast and I need to plan my lunches better during the week when I'm working.

CONGRATS! I also struggle with getting all my veggies in and am also on day 10 and down 13lbs. I've been amazed at how full i feel all day and how easy it has been not to cheat.

I have hard boiled egg whites for breakfast with cheese...I prepare a few one night so I have no excuse to skip breakfast even if I am running late!

I find it's easiest for me to have the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day. That way I know what's in there, and it's a no brainer, I just make my lunch while I am making dinner since I am chopping veggies anyway, and then make my breakfast after dinner.
