wooohoo we're getting the rain my seeds need but holy crap I am a hurting old body today. I got a full body work out 'cause my arms and legs hurt just as much as my back injury!!
I didn't eat as much as I thought that I would yesterday - I only went 82 calories over my daily target - being as active as I was, I did burn 2300 calories and that IS the key to losing weight! Even if my scale is lying to me - again!!

I don't think that I can exert myself like that on a daily basis but it sure did feel good being out working in my gardens for the past 2 days!! mneh maybe I can do it - wont know until I try it with the nice wearther getting here!!

It was really weird not stopping for a cigarette and water/coffee every couple hours, jeeez I didn't even stop for a Nicorette gum - so I'm going to have to set a timer on my phone to remind me to stop, get hydrated and have a few minutes of 'sit me ass down'!! I'm get'n old don't ya know!! 😉

ThnQ Erin *hugz* I have never owned a heating pad but I have a hot water bottle somewhere in this house. My aches and pains are almost gone thanks to muscle relaxers! These old muscles will stop playing Diva when they get conditioned to manual labour again...and realize just how good they look without that 4" layer of Canadian insulation they been hiding under for the past few years! 😉

*(Hugz)* no worries and I'm glad to hear. Muscle relaxers make me sleepy lol I can't take em until bed time.

Hey Nadia, that’s some hard work you’ve done and I can only imagine how sore you were as I ache so bad from doing the tiny garden area I have. I too was a smoker with 2 1/2 years under my belt smoke free now but I can so relate with that need to stop and have a cigarette like our body is on a time clock. That still happens to me occasionally but it is becoming less and less, thank goodness! I’d say it was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life; quitting smoking… but I did it!!! Goodbye cigarettes, hello weight!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

WoW Mona 2 1/2 years smoke free - how awesome for you! I started to put the weight on before I quit smoking in December/23 because of my workplace injury May/23 and being inactive for over 2 months! The rain that we've had for the past 2 days didn't help my with my aches & edema but I sure hope it helped my seeds to germinate!! As soon as I see my Common Milkweed sprouting in my Butterfly garden, I'll be transplanting some of them back in that area. I would love for my entire yard to be overflowing with Ontario Native plants but they're expensive to buy!! No budget for that but I'll be watching Facebook for freebies as fellow Native plant gardeners start thinning out their own gardens! I have lots of plans for this Summer so long as my body is able!
