Maintained at yesterday's weight. Up almost 4 lbs. over goal.

I'm sipping on a beverage....Sparkling water, No sugar cranberry juice, jalapeno & lime....minus the shot of tequila I have been adding 😏 Time to scale back on the alcohol treats again. I have been sticking to only one most of the time.

The blackeyed peas are simmering & a pork butt is in the oven for dinner. That will make enough for several servings.

I've gone rogue for December....at least for the past 3 1/2 weeks. I need to scale it back again....fewer higher calorie treats. I've eaten out more & not stuck to my usual plan of eating a light meal at home to counteract the restaurant meal.

We had planned to go out last night to celebrate New Year's Eve, but Hubby has a cold, so we decided to stay in. He grilled a New York Strip & I cooked lemon butter shrimp, baby red potatoes & asparagus. We turned on Nashville's Big Bash on TV & opened a bottle of champagne. They cut to the Ball Drop in New York at midnight (Eastern time). Lynyrd Skynyrd performed in Nashville leading up to midnight Central time. We rocked out in our living room til almost 1 AM 🎶🎵🎉🎊🥂🍾🎶🎵 before pulling the plug & going to bed.

I cooked brunch today....an egg casserole with a Hot Italian Sausage & Brie (left overs) in it, toast, fruit & coffee. We had another bottle of champagne for mimosas, but ended up not opening it.

The Gym was open today, but we didn't go. Looks like we're back to our routine on Wednesday.

New Year....time to end the Holiday indulgences & get back to my healthier lifestyle 😊

I took a quick look at my weight history from Dec. 2022 & early January 2023. I got up to 141 in December last year while I was able to stay under 140 this year. Jan. 1st I was at 137, but that was a short lived dip, going back up the next few days. My goal weight at that time was 140. I'm pretty sure if I do what I know I need to do, I'll be back down to goal begore the end of January.

Good for you SherryeB. Glad you at least had that tequila. I barely lasted past that New York Ball Drop. Happy New Year

You didn't do too bad over the holidays. I was asleep by 9 last night. Woke at midnight because of neighbor kids banging pots and pans outside, just like I did as a kid with my sisters!
