same weight as yesterday. would be so nice to drop just 1 pound by new years day. it's a goal. let's see how I can do.

by the way, it's been about 3 months since I gave up alcohol, and it's been shockingly easy.

Random decision one day to try, and there hasn't been a good reason to start again.

I quit decades ago sort of the same way. Unnecessary calories. My liver thanks me. LOL. Good luck with the weight loss.

I know you can do it! And great about giving up alcohol. I have maybe one glass of wine a month, never have been much of a drinker. Though I will celebrate the New Year with champagne, always do.

I didn't give it up 100% but cut back to the occasional glass of wine or cocktail. It was easy for me, too. I can stop allocating 250 calories a day for wine with dinner.

Sometimes, even incremental decrease are a great win. I am struggling to get below 200, and have weighed the same at 201.2 for the past 2 days. Also, was at 200.8 the day before that. However, frankly I think the 201.2 has been a good win. Happy you gave up the alcohal. I've never drunk much alcohal at all, but cigarettes were an addiction for me for about 18 years. I gave them up in 1984, and like you said,...it was shockingly easy. I just quit and never looked back. You will get there !!

I didn't cut out alcohol completely, but reduced consumption quite signigifcantly. It's made a huge difference for me in terms of body composition.

i just stopped a couple of years ago during the plague. Just seemed easy at that point.

it's wild how much you can lose just by cutting alcohol. you never think about the calories while drinking, especially socially. and lite beer and 'skinny' cocktails still add up!

Congratulations on dropping the alcohol. I quit in 2021. I do have some Trulys on a few holidays like the 4th or New Year’s. But, not on a daily basis. I feel so much better.
