I use this for butter coffee.

My sweet friend, I think it’s slang and jokes that you’ll need to study. Yo Mama was the base of a bunch of insult jokes, but the sauce brand is cute because they took a phrase that was almost an insult and turned it into a business that makes money. They definitely won the game. As far as learning slang, it used to be watching TV, but I think at this point you will need to “Netflix and chill” to get in on the jokes. You have a pure spirit though, so don’t work at it too hard. 🥰

Yo-mama is my go to sauce when I haven’t made my own. Thing is, I can’t find it in a store so it is yet another AMAZON product.

To Kenna Morton: I always read the ingredients label whatever I am interested in. Tomato base pasta sauce has sugar which I want to avoid. I used to pick Rao’s, but I haven’t using this brand since I read their recall news. I bought YO Mama’s at Ralphs.

To Katsolo: Thank you for your advice and your constant kindness to me. Even if I know slang, I want to avoid saying it myself. Just like with dining etiquette, the words you choose to speak reflect the environment in which I was raised.

Yo! Momma! CAN mean Hey! Good looking! It was also used as a turn around insult. The person insulted would then say “Yo momma” meaning the insult is now directed at your MOM. Or so it was when I was a kid on the playground. Adults don’t really use that phrase much now. I’ve never heard of Yo Momma sauce. I use Raos, but read a comment below that it was recalled, so will look into that. I’ve tried butter in my coffee and I don’t prefer it. I love butter and I love coffee, but not together. Lol I put canned unsweetened Thai coconut 🥥 milk in my coffee. Ghee is very healthy for you so glad you like it! 🧈 💛

To StormsGirl: Thank you for kindly explaining about the meaning. I think it is better to ask here if I have some slung questions. 😆 I like coconut milk too.

Harapeko— thanks for the info about Ralph’s. I have looked there before but will definitely stop and look again. Next to homemade, it’s the best I have found

There is sugar in almost every commercial product that we eat. I don’t have any of the sugar addiction issues or medical problems like diabetes that really require me to be strict about my diet, but I subscribe to the common sense, portion control and moderation theory which has served me very well in life. Healthier eating most of the time and less healthy, or less conducive to maintaining my goals, just once in a while. It has worked for me and every single person that I have ever mentored in the last 30+ years.

Victoria Fine Foods marinara sauce is also fairly low in sugars. I think it’s something like 5 or 6 g for the marinara sauce and I prefer to Rao’s.

To Kenna Morton: Thank you very much your comments. Yes, I really agree with you. “You are what you eat” is not only your looking, but also it effects your inside of body as well. Let’s appreciate healthy life.
