Slightly early weigh-in since I had a Doctor's appt. this morning ☆ Down and....I ate almost 2100 calories yesterday 😁 Yay for burning extra calories at the Gym.

It was a routine visit with my cardiologist, (actually his NP), but I brought up the fact I've had some episodes of feeling lightheaded with some heart palpitations recently. Specifically at the Gym, but not necessarily when I'm really exerting myself. It happened yesterday, but doesn't always occur. I may just be dehydrated, or it could be due to a heart med I've been on for a long time. Or something unknown. I don't have any pain & I am able to continue working out once I catch my breath. She wants me to wear a Holter Monitor for a week to moniter my heartbeats. I'm scheduled to get set up with it Tues. next week. My Echocardiagram was normal (my normal anyway....I have a blip in my heartbeats). Blood pressure is fine. She said my weight was perfect & is very pleased with my consistent Gym schedule.

I made a pot of Chili for dinner. Hubby requested it a few days ago, so I bought all the ingredients. The weather has been cooler, so a perfect Fall meal 🍁🍂😊🥣

My sis is coming up on Saturday & we're going to our local Fall Festival.

Chili sounds good. This is the time of year where the weather wants me to make chili, roasts or stews. Having the heart monitor will hopefully reassure you that everything is okay. When I got really dehydrated a few months ago i felt a little off balance, maybe lightheaded

Sherry, last time I had issues like those, I had an electrolyte imbalance. I was a few days post covid and could not smell or taste, had no appetite and was drinking water constantly. I had flushed all of the electrolytes out of my system, I was not dehydrated, quite the opposite actually. A week of not eating and drinking plenty of fluids had my sodium low, my potassium lower and my magnesium barely registered. I got an electrolyte IV and some salt tabs and got sent home. For several weeks after that event, I was still having issues with my heart racing, especially when I laid down in the bed. Magnesium supplementation eliminated that, what I ended up eating, because it was all I could taste did not have much magnesium in it so I was still suffering from low levels. After about two days on the supplement, the racing heart slowed down and I could finally sleep at night.

Debra, I just had a full blood panel done & everything looked good. I did have Covid a month ago, but my appetite returned within a few days. I'm eating plenty of healthy stuff.
