I was surprised to be up this morning. I ate under my 1700 calories yesterday. Last night, after I got in bed, I was having hunger pangs. I never feel hungry at night, so I was surprised. I debated getting up & eating something, but I didn't have anything I was particularly craving, so I just drank more water.

I worked outside in the gardens today. I started planting the Mums I bought yesterday when I got home. It started raining, so I ended up putting 2 in planters & adding a couple of pansies to some vinca in the deck railing box to replace the marigolds that had died. I decided working in the rain wasn't much fun, so came inside. Today was a beautiful, sunny day so it was nice to be outside. I got the rest of the flowers planted. I'd been wanting to transplant some Canna Lillies, so I did that.

I should have stopped there. I was getting tired, but I thought it wouldn't be too hard to clean the garage window. We can see thru that window from the back door window into the side gardens. This window hasn't been cleaned in a while & there is a bunch of stuff stored on front of it. I had to move some things, then used the garage vacuum to clean all the dust & cobwebs around it. By the time I finished the inside panes, I was exhausted & could hardly walk. My back was killing me!! I never got to the outside panes....another day. A hot shower & the heating pad has helped. I hope I'm able to get to the Gym tomorrow.

I can definitely tell, I'm not as young as I used to be 🫤

Well, it certainly isn't a real gain, it will probably be gone tomorrow.

Most likely it's just inflammation you said that your back was hurting and you just had a bunch of exercise from gardening and doing other activities all of which cause muscle inflammation. Rest back injuries can be quite dangerous and easy to overlook because large amounts of damage over time, can't live without a back. I hope you get to feeling better though. 😊

You're right Shirley. I knew it was a flucuation, just surprised it was up after a lower cal day. Back down today.

Leah, I feel much better today. My back always aches after too much activity on my feet. I just pushed myself yesterday a bit too much. Motivation was there but I should know better by now. Thanks for the concern 😊
