Yes Chinese food is always a setback with the carbs and salt. I try and avoid.

I would avoid it if only my wife didn't love it so much. She eats carbs only. 38 years and I've never made a dent in her resistance to believing basic principles of healthy eating. For her it's all about what she likes, for me it's all about long term benefit. Different approaches to life in general. But hey, 38 years together so what's a few pounds between life partners.

LOL. I was eating mostly salt too and I had to stop. Eating less salt, calories, carbs but no weight loss or change in BP or Blood Sugar.

If I recall pics of your wife, she looks pretty fit and healthy. Sounds like she may be on to something. 😉
