Hello Friday!

I'm quite surprised about the weight loss this week. I have been hungrier than usual, but when I eat I try to eat healthy foods. I did have a couple of bananas with peanut butter this week...it is hard to leave the peanut butter alone when I get it out to set those darn mouse traps! and I'm on my second container of hummus...I guess there could be worse things to overeat, but I don't like the feeling of being out of control.

Exercise is another issue. Ever since coming home from vacation I've struggled with getting back to my exercise bike routine. I used an elliptical the whole month we were away and now that I'm home the bike feels like I'm not doing anything. I used to sweat like crazy after about 15 minutes on the bike and by 45 minutes I looked like I had just stepped out of the shower. Now I hardly break a sweat after 45 minutes. I thought maybe the grandkids had done something to my bike, but I have the resistance turned up and it still doesn't seem like it is doing much. DS#6 is a fitness enthusiast (MMA) and he tells me my fitness level has progressed past the exercise bike. He and Goodman want me to get an elliptical. I also think DS#6 would like me to get an elliptical so he can use it when he comes over ;)...but YOWZA, ellipticals are expensive!

So my plan for the weekend is to stay on my healthy eating plan and choose an exercise (exercise bike, xbox, or kettle bells) each day.
